Yes of course there would be no Curt Smith cover of that song without Chris Martin. I was just saying that I think he has a better sounding voice for that song. However Chris Martin is not without his charm.

I like Curt's version better, too, but I'm very grateful to Chris for writing it. It was obviously something heartfelt to him.

Yesiree Bob Curt does sing that song better than Chris Martin does and NO I'm not just saying that because I'm at Curt's site. He sounds a lot better than Chris Martin does doing that song.
