mad cool!!! that song is one of my favorites from HP and its simply becuase of the line "everything that I envied-I have become" for some reason it resonates deep with me. So to hear a live version done so well is a nice treat. Im a big fan of revisits and remixes. So I like to hear some of these songs done live or alternated.......anyewho gr8 performance!
Just revisiting this after a few months...its amazing that all these shows feature music, and so often the sound stage brutalizes the sound. That your voice came through this well on this show was amazing...
I was in person for a TFF appearance on Leno (by pure luck I was front row, middle, and got to shake hands with Leno, etc). The performance was great in person, then we got home, heard what went out over the air, and went - 'Huh? What happened?'
I know there are many vocalists that are highly 'assisted' in the studio - but this does not seem to be the root cause, since it sounded great in person...
Who knows what the issue is (not a sound engineer).
Anyway, am glad to check back on this, and hear just how well this came out...
I knew I'd love it, but what an amazing voice...gave me chills.
Can I be your backing vocals next time? never hurts to ask... ;)
If this doesn't sell tons of CD's for you, then people are just plain stupid and tone deaf!

Now that I had the opportunity to view the performance once again I have changed my mind--This is the best live vocal I have ever seen from anyone on a tv show which usually dissapoint and that includes U2 and Prince ! Pretty amazing . I hope somehow the general public will get to hear this song along with all the other wonderful music on halfway pleased --I loved ELAHE but this album has a few songs on it that are a level above anything Curt has done since the 80's with TFF in my opinion. I love the fact that this was so subdued....no big drum kit, just Nick with a box, Charlton on a simple guitar, Doug on keyboards, Curt singing. No big production, just pure music and heart.
Ronzilla, thanks for making me revisit this.
