Chalk up another glowing review of Halfway, pleased, this time from entertainment news site Pop Culture Zoo. PCZ Editor-in-Chief Joseph Dilworth, Jr. praises the album's "collection of songs by a true musical artist" as the "audio equivalent of your favorite independent film."

The July issue of The Atlantan includes a review of Halfway Pleased, pronouncing it a "refreshing departure from the cloying clutter on the airwaves."

David Wild blogs on the Huffington Post that Halfway, pleased is "one of the stronger albums of 2008," with "moments of pure harmonic convergence that reminded me of Brian Wilson at his best."
