Soundtrack to My Life videos

If you're not n the UK, or otherwise missed the telecast of the ITV programme "Soundtrack to My Life," someone has very kindly put videos up on YouTube. We can't link directly to them, but we can link to the pages WITH the videos, which are below. In it I chat with Cat Deeley and perform four songs, ably backed by Charlton and Doug: Mad World, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Yellow and of course Seven of Sundays.

One evening last summer, I picked two of my friends up to go grab a bite to eat. I had The Hurting in the CD player, and "Mad World" came on.
Both of my friends were intrigued, but told me politely that they "liked the original Donnie Darko version better"!

Well, I just wanted to comment on your post ... my daughter Gracie (13 y.o. at the time) was listening to me going through some Curt Smith, and the original Mad World was among them. Imagine HER surprise when her mom was playing the Mad World original. Yep, me, the cool mom. Who knew? That Gary Jules video went virul, so she knew it well though the first was long before her time. I wasn't much older than she when Mad World was originally released. It was a fantastic moment ... but then that dreaded evening came where she played Mad World over and over and over again. C'mon people, you know what that means (in her case, a bad day at school) .... and I say thank God that music still stands today because it's got the words I just can't giver her all the time, dig?

I thoroughly enjoyed the interview and the songs. Loved the camaraderie between you and Cat. You look very relaxed and it looks like a fun time was had by all.

The version of Mad World was so beyond good. I thought that the force behind your voice was really there. I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for the interview, Curt. I learned a great deal about the history of TFF, Rolnd and your recent work.

I had a very hard day but after viewing this footage it made me forget .My son Kent Jr. age 13 walked in just as Yellow was being played and he just stood there captivated by the performance and at the end he turned to me and stated '" Curt Smith is a great singer ".Mad World by Gary Jules was my son and a few of his friends favorite song but after showing him some of TFF music he really loved it when he was around 10 years old and Shout by Disturbed he likes listening too-I can't stand it .Tonight he said Dad , " TFF is one of my all time favorite bands = priceless as Curt would say and I couldn't believe my ears it came out of this cool kid's mouth that doesn't even talk to me hardly anymore ! "Everybody Wants To Go To War"? The song's been out over 20 years and I've been a fan for just under 20; how'd I miss that little tidbit of info.? Or is it not even accurate?
If anyone has the technical know-how to swipe audio from the video, I could go for having an mp3 of "Yellow" as I'm sure others would as well.
And somehow clips 1 and 3 have gone up to 125 views while clip 2 is back at 104. Some 21 people skipped the middle bit?
