Ahhh,now this song takes me back to the Mayfield version. I have heard I think 3 versions and I like the original best.It does evoke a visual stimulation doesnt it? This piece is somewhat subjective.I can apply the lyrics to a lot of situations.When I hear this one,I visualise a silvery black and white,tradjic winter scenario: It evokes a sympathetic disposition...It would conclude someones film pretty nice.Hey perhaps someday one of mine!
