I read my review on this version after hearing it only once and actually after watching the video afterwards it did work for me on a different level , I believe sometimes it takes a few times hearing a song to attach yourself one way or the other identify etc. and probably because the other acoustic version completely blew me away the 1st time I was prejudiced before I heard the So version duet , sorry folks.

Man oh man ! The acoustic version with Curt solo is 99.9% better in my opinion and something just doesn't work for me on this version with the production and her voice but the other version is incredible for me and I absolutely love it.
If I could write lyrics like this my girlfriend would really love me!My favorite line,"everything that I envied,I have become."That,is a declaration of growth! I can feel that! Perhaps the kind of growth that a symbiant relationship brings or however it is meant,I find it somewhat empowering to repeat.none the less it is a love song.So probably my first impression is closer to the authors intent.(But he did say "everything" so Maybe more than just the love thing happining there).I think this is the first selection on the album and I can see why they would choose it. It reintroduces us to who Curt is now. The first time I heard it my thoughs were,'ok thats way different.It gives me a nght time in the city feel. I see the Atlanta skyline as Im riding to my girlfriends,yeah Its way cool......a newer and stronger Curt exist in this rift of time.....
