Seven Of Sundays (Acoustic)

From release: halfway, pleased

By Charlton Pettus and Chesney Hawkes

It's alright
Got to tell myself it's alright
Everything that I envied I have become
Where to now?
Now that I've been lost and found
Buried in the afternoon
Breathless and snowbound

Safe as the ocean
Shine like a motor car
Seven of Sundays
Of course you are

Coming down
Ice cream and a towel wrapped around
Flowing hair the swallows me
Follows me down
It's OK
Twisted sheets and endless rainy days
Channels flash across your face
Silence surrounds you

Safe as the ocean………

Seven of Sundays
Of course you are

The new album Halfway, Pleased is nothing short of outstanding.I have to admit being a former huge TFF fan I was expecting it to not be as great as his prior work with Roland as a duo and CNA.To my surprise the album is extremely consistent , excellant from the 1st to the last track and the songs complement each other extremely well , this is truly an album and not just a bunch of singles thrown together. A lot of time and effort went into this work and I admire Curt even more than before as an artist for accomplishing this on his own. Im into cna training, and honestly it gives me a lot of inspration to pursue my dreams.

I liked this song largely for the lyrics. and hearing an aucustic version puts more focus on the words and Curts delivery. What more can I say as it speaks for itself.I would like to know a bit more about its meaning.

I adore this version of Seven Of Sundays.

Brilliant.

I agree. Curt should release an acoustic CD.

Roger

By far the best thing Curt has ever done absolutely HAUNTING.
This version is a MUST for a release

Simple brilliance of simplicity

The best song for me on the album in this acoustic version. It's my favorite

This is freaking amazing.
