Halfway Home

A demo recording that was done for a television pilot. They didn't pick the song, but the pilot didn't get picked up either, obviously due to the producers' musical sensibilities ;).

I'm flattered to have gotten many compliments about the song, and by requests to make it available for sale or download. However, it's an unfinished demo, so I'm not ready to do either of those things with it. Rest assured that at some point in the not too distant future I'll put the finishing touches to it, and then I'll be glad to put it out there. Who knows, if it becomes popular maybe it will be a model for future writing and recording...

Guess the producer was a musical idiot! But it's our gain! It's been the song on my myspace page for quite awhile now...

Please, please, please let us download it???

Was this for a theme song (it has that feel)? I can see it as backing an intro, or a few different type of outtakes, etc. This has a different feel from most your solo music, so is there a different 'way' one writes music for television?
