Peanut Butter Preferences

While not wishing to make light of the more serious topics under discussion elsewhere on the site, this seemed a natural for a new poll. Which style of peanut butter do you prefer?

We'll actually be home for Christmas as NOTP ends on December 21st. I never like being away from them and our Christmas is quite traditionally English, big lunch, Christmas crackers, sticky pudding etc.. The only thing missing is the Queen's speech.

Thank you for the kind words.

Hi Curt, You'll have to forgive me since I'm a little bit shy at this particular moment, I lurked around your site for a few days before I registered, because you're a celebrity, and I'm a Plain Jane person; not a celebrity. L.O.R.L. I've idolized both you and Roland since I was about 9 years old but I never told anyone, not even my own mother, until now. You know how it is at that age. Don't talk about anything that you like unless you have friends that feel the same way that you do. Now getting down to the questions that I have. I was watching the Change video on You Tube and I have a few questions about it. 1. There's a scene in the video in which somebody's hands are sticking up through what appears to be a table. I'm wondering who's hands are those doing all of that wierd contortionist like stuff? 2. Who are the people wearing the masks and dancing behind Roland and what do those masks reperesent? 3. How did Roland come up with all of those dance moves that I can only describe as being off the wall? Did he work with a coreographer or did he coreograph those dance steps himself? 4. Is that you in the scene dressed up like a statue with gold body paint? I'm almost embarrassed to say it but you had great looking legs in that video. If I may say so you have better looking legs than Britney Spears. LORL! It's nice to see a man getting in touch with his feminine side. ;) How hard was it for you to stand still for that long? 5. Do you ever watch yourself in those old videos and think "gee what the hell was I thinking when I thought of doing that to my hair?"? or "what the hell was I wearing?"? What does Frances say about it when she sees you watching those old videos? 6. Have Diva and Wilder seen any of these old videos? Thanks for your time.Celeste. :)

A lot of questions, some of which I can answer (it was a long time ago). The hands were actually the hands of a puppeteer who strangely enough went on to invent Roland rat (yes it was named after Roland). the dance moves are Roland's own, who else would come up with that? The masked people are just extras, and yes I often think all of those things about the fashion back then Frances, and especially Diva and Wilder, love to watch them as they find them hysterical.

Diva was Hermione Grainger from Harry Potter and WIlder was a "rock devil" (they were aptly named).

Thank you, I enjoy it.

The bass rhythm has a shuffle beat and the vocal is sung straight, I dare anyone to try.

We wanted an old English sports car that was like my own. I owned (and still have to this day) a 1959 Triumph TR3A, we couldn't find one for the shoot and the Austin Healey was the closest.

My mother worked in a department store and my father was a waiter. My older brother still dabbles in music but is a translator/tour guide by profession and my younger brother is a computer software writer (a wise career choice).

It was relatively simple, we sat in a room and wrote songs together, when we were happy with the songs we produced them (quite well IMHO).

Ich mag Kase

I do, I don't, I can't remember.

Due to this tour my time is a little short (much like myself), I'll see in the new year if it makes any sense.

Charlton doesn't suck!

here is a little info about your candidate. Why would your back such a fiend?Obama has always served his corporate masters. He opposed Rep. John Murtha’s call for immediate withdrawal from Iraq and supported continued funding for the war. He voted in July 2005 to reauthorize the Patriot Act. He did not support an amendment that was part of a bankruptcy bill that would have capped credit card interest rates at 30 percent. He opposed a bill that would have reformed the notorious Mining Law of 1872, which allows mineral companies to rape federal land for profit. He did not back the single-payer health care bill HR 676, sponsored by Kucinich and John Conyers. He advocates the death penalty and nuclear power (after the nuke industry gave him ½ a million). He backed the class-action “reform” bill—the Class Action Fairness Act (CAFA)—that was part of a large lobbying effort by financial firms, which make up Obama’s second-biggest single bloc of donors. CAFA would effectively shut down state courts as a venue to hear most class-action lawsuits. Workers, under CAFA, would no longer have redress in many of the courts where these cases have a chance of defying powerful corporations. CAFA moves these cases into corporate-friendly federal courts.Obama’s support for the bailout, however, is his most egregious betrayal. He had a brief, shining moment to prove he could lead, to capitalize on a popular revolt that cut across the political spectrum. He never attempted to address or mobilize the aspirations and passions of the vast majority of Americans. He was as craven, servile and cowardly as the party he represents. He returned to the campaign trail after Friday’s vote as a slick and polished sales representative for our corporate state, telling us to calm down and accept the inevitable. He also caved-in on the ridiculous off-shore drilling bullshit, has no real time table to get out of Iraq and Afganistan, campaigned for Joe Lieberman, voted for immunity for the telecoms for spying on us, supports INCREASING the size of the military, says no to gay marriage, and WON’T IMPEACH SOME OF THE MOST DISCUSTING CONSTITUTION SHREDDING/MURDERER/WAR CRIMINALS OF ALL TIME.

Because I believe in him and pride myself on being relatively calm and objective.

I actually played a big concert fro Nelson Mandela (when he was still imprisoned) with Phil. We always sang Phil Collins drum fills while we were recording so I asked him if he would come and play.
