Hey Curt, this one is long overdue, man! Wow, finally! China Crisis and Lotus Eaters and other 80s Brit bands (Duran Duran) have beat TFF to the draw by having gigs in Manila some years back... but I really don't mind, you'll still make it here however long we've waited. I'm a certified 80's kid, and proud of it (isn't it obvious yet?). I think next to Japan, the Philippines has always been ahead of our Asian neighbors when it comes to musical sensibilities and sophistication, just ask Paul and Ringo of The Beatles. And this you'll find out soon. Many TFF and Brit Invasion fans on this side of the world will come out of the woodwork. Bring on the hits, hit those mean basslines, and we'll sing along and SHOUT at the top of our Filipino lungs. The Hurting is one of my all-time fave albums. Hey, I also have your Graduate album "Acting My Age". Your "In My Mind's Eye" gig is unforgettable! You'll certainly do your true-blue TFF fans a great favor here if you include The Hurting, Suffer the Children, Pale Shelter, Change in your set list. To say that I'm excited about the concert is an understatement, notice this looong comment. Anyway, hope to see you and Roland this May. And please don't cancel the Manila gig, it will give me an horrific dream.
