Gungi Update

In case anyone missed the update from Gruno I am reposting it: http://www.friendsofgungi.com/

Thoughts going out to the Paterson family and friends.

Does it really mean a drug dealer lives in the street when there is a pair of shoes flung over power lines?

YES. Has this happened in your neighborhood recently, or nearby? Call it in. You don't want a crack den or flop house in your neighborhood. They never come to any good :(.

A couple of weeks ago, a police chief from a very small town nearby discussed this exact thing at a council meeting. He thought it was just a prank. He got an earful when that story was published, on just how clueless he, as a law enforcement officer, was.

They're hanging everywhere in certain neighborhoods in NOLA. The power company knocks them down, but they're flung right back up as soon as the power truck leaves. One in particular I'll never forget, was an entire tree in their yard covered with tennis shoes tied from the limbs. Private property, thus avoiding the risk of power companies knocking them down and losing one bit of business.

In my town it does:(

Keeping Gungi and his family in my thoughts, hope everyone does the same.

I encourage everyone to go to www.friendsofgungi.com and send him a message on the guestbook. I'm going to send Gungi some love and support each day.

Carolyn

Please send my support and prayers to Gungi and his family. I'm so sorry to hear he isn't doing well.

Thanks for the update. Sending thoughts and prayers his way.

I am sorry that your diabetes is acting up, Margie. I hope that you feel better soon. You and your family are in my prayers and thoughts.

Alexis was able to raise $50.00 for Gungi from her Saturday, Sunday and Monday yard sale. She was a bit dissappointed. The toys and other goodies, she is saving for Carolyn's generous offer, and the rest, we called up the United Cancer Research Society to pick up, they will be here thursday. In hopes if we couldn't help Gungi with it, then maybe someone we don't know who needed the help as well.

I told Alexis of the update. She didn't understand at first, but she remembers Tata on Hospice and sort of what it means. I felt bad, My baby Cried. She doesn't even know Gungi, but she feels things for him and it made her sad, and she cried. She has been praying for him ever since.

I am so sorry for Gungi, his family, friends, Curt, Roland...etc. May peace be with all of us at this time.
Now, I am off to the hospital, my diabetes is acting up.

I've been trying, but it won't accept my email address? ...try , try again....

I am sorry about this. I am keeping Gungi and his family in my prayers and thoughts.

I'm very sorry to hear this news. Praying for Gungi's family and friends during this difficult time. I find myself praying for his wife and children especially, having a sick hubby myself helps me to see how they feel and know the sadness they face.

I'am really sorry Gungi's treatment isn't working to well. I'am sending him all my hope and thoughts and wish him well. He's a true Braveheart xx
I'am doing "Race For Life" today ,it's to raise money for cancer research, maybe one day we can find a cure for this terrible illness.
God bless you Gungi oxox
