Day 13

Awoke around 9am, ordered breakfast and crossed my fingers that the one running machine in the gym was vacant. Upside - it was. Downside - it was last calibrated when it was made in 1980 probably.

Day 12

I awake early and order breakfast, we leave at noon today and I've decided to brave the cold weather (courtesy of the new clothing I bought yesterday) and go running outside.

Day 11

Managed to stay in bed until nearly 10am after being awake until 2am, if I keep this time schedule up at least there will be less jet lag to deal with going home.

Day 10 (satellites, swing sets and flagpoles)

I awoke early feeling much better, Roland's potions seemed to have done the trick. I order breakfast and sit down to write yesterday's blog.

Day 9

One thing I didn't mention yesterday was that I was feeling the beginnings of a cold coming on. Congestion, temperature and headache.

Day 8

Woke up, had breakfast, went back to sleep - bad move.

Day 7

I didn't get to sleep until 1.30am so when the alarm goes off at 8am I have to drag myself out of bed to order breakfast.

Day 6

This so rarely happens to me, but I actually slept through the alarm and didn't wake up until 10am. I think that must be the latest I've stayed in bed for years.

Day 5

Yesterday was a relatively uneventful day news-wise due to an early show (6pm) and an afternoon spent following a text report of the Manchester United game.

Day 4 (angels and ice cream)

Woke up at a reasonable hour and ordered breakfast in my room. The one problem I'm having in this hotel are the amount of autograph hunters in the foyer, restaurant and bar.
