psych airs tonight!

We're making our way from Miami to Clearwater, but very quickly wanted to remind you that (if you're in the States, anyway) my episode of Psych airs tonight (Wednesday 1st September), 10pm, USA Network. Set your DVR, and I hope you enjoy........ be sure to listen to the opening theme song, I think you may hear a familiar voice. Comments welcome below :)

I'd already been planning to do a Twitter chat before leaving on tour when @rcheal brought it up yesterday. So now I've scheduled a time: 6pm PT / 9pm ET this Sunday 8th August. I'll stick around as long as I can, up to an hour, and answer as many of your questions as I can get to.. Just remember, I need to be able to answer them in 140 characters!

I'm happy to announce that I'll be playing a solo show on November 19 at McCabe's in Santa Monica. Tickets ($20) are now on sale from the McCabe's site (http://www.mccabes.com/condata.html). I played there in May '09 and a good time was had by all, so I look forward to seeing a bunch of you there.

England World Cup Song Press Requests

As I've been asked by a few members of the wonderful UK press for a comment on the choice of Shout as the England World Cup song, I thought it may be easier to list my feelings here. That way any journalist is free to pick a quote, take it out of context, appear that they have actually had a conversation with me and then we're all happy!

Better late than never?

A bit overdue for a blog, I know, but fortunately it's because I've been quite busy and therefore have lots to report!

Opensource.com event: I'll be participating in an online panel about music as part of the OpenSource.com "Open Your World" Forum next Thursday, May 27, at 12.30pm EST.
